Description:We are currently seeking a P/T Administrator/ Marketing Assistant to work in a small office of Financial Brokers, providing basic administration and customer service work.  

The main responsibilities for this role will include the following:

  • Typing up various documents including memos and letters utilizing MS Word;
  • Creating spreadsheets containing simple formulas and formatting utilzing MS Excel;
  • Entering information into the company database system, in a quick and accurate manner;
  • Assisting with making travel arrangements (flights, hotels, car rentals), running daily sales and operational reports;
  • Ordering office supplies, scanning invoices, filing and photocopying;
  • Helping with social media including Facebook, Twitter;
  • Assisting with marketing research, updating LinkedIn profile, helping with webpage updates and marketing brochures;
  • Other administrative duties such as mail, couriers, as required.
Qualifications: In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications:
  • +2 year of consistent administrative experience, preferrably within a professional environment;
  • Strong intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, including the ability to utilize various formatting functions - text boxes, tables, header/footer, etc. and the ability to input simple formulas into an  Excel spreadsheet;
  • Familiarity with website management and typing up marketing materials for real estate or property development would be a definite asset;
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, the ability to show initiative, strong organization and attention to detail;
  • This position requires an individual who is willing to take ownership of the position and have the ability to make decisions in order to improve efficiencies and procedures within the role.
  • This position also requires an individual who is able to demonstrate a professional image and manner.
