Marketing Coordinator 

Job Duties

  1. Manage and assist the management team in the execution of national and local store marketing initiatives.
  2. Build positive, on-going relationships with local businesses, schools, sports teams and community organizations.
  3. Effectively ‘Chase the Sale’ and educate the local community about our brands.
  4. Identify and capitalize on key opportunities in the community to raise the profile of the brand.
  5. Submit weekly updates and tracking sheets.
  6. Proactively updates key stakeholders with project progress and continually manages client expectations.
  7. Prepare Creative Briefs for manager review for all client projects
  8. Maintains proactive and consistent communication with internal/external marketing services team.
  9. Ensures marketing services revenue targets are actively delivered against
  10.  Ensures preparation of billing notes for active client roster and reviews invoices for accuracy.
  11.   Proficiency in business use of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Snap Chat.
  12.  Updating and maintaining all social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and ensuring they meet the company’s marketing brand and strategy.
  13. Implement marketing and communications plans and programs, both short and long range, to maximize revenue potential and growth opportunities of the business.
  14. Monitoring industry trends and making recommendations for promotional campaigns while collaborating with the Graphic Designers, Public Relations and various other departments to increase visibility and media value for all promotional campaigns.
  15. Facilitating meetings and discussions
  16.  Follow up with stores managers and Above store leaders to ensure assigned tasks are completed.

  16. Must be able to pass a basic security clearance/criminal record check.
Qualifications:
  • Business degree or diploma with a preferred emphasis on Marketing or Management or appropriate education and experience.
  • Should be proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)
  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
